Unhappy Applying Visual Styles Error..?

Hey,
Earlier on today, I was cleaning up my Desktop and then I decided to change the apperance by changing the color of the background so the picture on my desktop would look better.
However, when I clicked OK this box appeared saying: Applying Visual Styles Error - The visual styles could not be applied. Access is denied.

I checked the theme settings and it's set on Automatic. I remember having some problems with visual memory before, too. Could you please help me?

PS My computer is WinXP and 32bit true color..!!
