Exclamation Can not play .AVI movie

I bought a new pantiul 4 xp operating systems with dvd recorder. I have adigital camera which takes movie in .avi formate.
I was able to play this movie on my old computer but now with this new computer when I play .avi format movie i can hear sound and no vedio.
Please help.

i think you dont have the proper codecs

try here
http://www.codecpack.com/allin1.php

and see if works

hey try also divx player it will surely play your avi files!

Gspot
3ivx
divx
real player
boilsoft avi
avi mpeg
windows media player 10
Cyber link
pinnnacle
quick time player


unlead player

Nothing works ???????????????????????????????????????

Some one told me to only way out is reformate drive. I do not want to reformat if there is any other way.

use gspot to see the codec required for the avi file.

or if you're lazy u can go use media player classic

What is media player classic? is it media player 10?

I did go to Gspot and found out codec for .avi, I have both the codec require to play .avi file, but it is not working.

Babay Boy

I down loaded VLC player. Now I can view vedio but the audio quality is very bad. On media player 10 I can get realy good sound but no video.
