Internet Explorer opens slow

My IE opens very slowly. I ran a HJT and here are the results. Thanks for any suggestions. BCKID

Hi BCKID, your log is fine. Is Outlook Express slow to open too?

I see that you have McAfee installed. If you upgraded from an earlier version without rebooting, McAfee may have deleted a file by mistake.

Go to Start > Run and type:

cmd.exe

and ok. Copy and paste the below string after the prompt >

dir /s /a "c:\Imagehlp.dll" > c:\find.txt & start notepad c:\find.txt

Your drive will be scanned and when finished, Notepad will pop up with some information. Copy and paste it in this thread.

Have you installed Messenger from this PC?

That looks fine. It could be a problem caused by a Toolbar. Open IE and go into Tools > Manage Add-ons and disable the lot. Open IE again and if you have no further problems, enable each one (one at a time) until you find the culprit.
