xp home shutdown issue

Hoping for some advice regarding my computer which usually shuts down ok but occasionally hangs. When this happens I restart and then am able to shutdown again. I have run antivirus, checkdisk and anti-spyware but I have no idea what I might be able to do next. Any ideas? Thanks!

p.s. There are no problems in device manager.
