DOS Box Closes as soon as it opens
Every time I type in something like "cmd" "ipconfig" "REGEDIT" and whatnot, where its supposed to open a DOS Box, the box comes up, blinks and closes without warning so I cannot read or do anything in the DOS Box. Is there some option that might have triggered this? Help Please

Welcome
 regedit is not a DOS or Command Prompt program. ipconfig will do that if started from the Start>Run box and not run with cmd /k ipconfig You should open the command prompt first from Start>Accessories> before running commands.
