Webcam issue and mobo issue
Hello all, these two questions involve 2 different computers:
1) My girlfriend has a Quickcam 4000 Pro, and it worked perfectly fine for the first day that we got it. Then, the next morning we used it again after restarting the computer, and ever since it has been super out of focus. We have adjusted the focus ring to every setting there is, and have tried uninstalling it, but it will not come into focus, everything is very blurry. This may be the wrong place to ask this, but if anyone has any insight, or suggestions, i would be greatful. Now to the more appropriate question: 2) I just installed an abit NF7 mobo, and it works awesome, but I just have 1 little problem. When i first booted it up, it would always hang at "Detecting IDE's.." so after i did some fooling around with it, i came to realize that if i have both my dvd/cd-r drives plugged in together as master/slave, it hangs, but if i disconnect the IDE cable from the slave, it works fine. And my question i guess is.. why, lol. I checked the jumpers, they are set correctly, so i dont really know why a slave drive would make the computer hang.. anyways, thank you for the help! |

If that doesn't work move the master device jumper shunt to CS and try the slave jumper on slave and then CS. It's a juggling-jumper game but one of the combos will work. |
