Need Help Acer TravelMate Memory Upgrade
Hi I have a question re a memory upgrade for my laptop
AcerTravelmate 514 TXV Processor 466 Memory 64mb OS Windows 98SE I checked on the Acer support page and it tells me the laptop has two slots for memory - soDIMMS and gives possible configurations for same. One of which is 2 x 128 mb Does this mean then that I can replace my 64 with 2 x 128 and have 256 mb of memory? Am still waiting to hear from Acer where to buy the memory, would this type of memory be fairly easy to purchase? Any help appreciated PS if this is not the right forum to ask this - sorry
