Leopard and Parallels
If I convert to Leopard on my iMac will the Parallels software for having XP on the machine work as it does for Tiger? I heard there were some bugs in Leopard so is it worth converting now, or should I wait a few months?

Parallels seems to run okay here on OS10.5.1.
But I would really wait to install 10.5 until some of it's bugs are worked out. This is especially true if you only have 1 Mac and need it to work correctly all the time. There are data loss issues in 10.5 when you copy files from one partition to another or between two drives. There is also a bug that causes Safari to loose it's cookie data so stored passwords will be lost and you'll have to always enter them. If these kinds of things are okay with you, then I guess it's your call wether to install 10.5. |
