Why will sound/audio files only play through Windows Media??

Hi Guys,

Looking for abit of help if possible?

Basiclly, I have a problem with my audio/video files. I can only hear sound on files if I play them through WMP. Normally I would use various players inc... real player, Iriver software etc...but now they dont work. I cant even hear sound when I link to a video/audio file on a webpage! (E.g. Youtube).

I have tried all I can think of... Downloaded various codec packs, checked all settings on my system and even tried a different pair of speakers!

Any ideas?

Try reinstalling your sound card drivers.
