Question Everything I try to download opens in Notepad..Help!
I feel like an idiot, but I'm sure I checked or unchecked something that was supposed to be checked or unchecked. When I try to open a file, the file download dialog box opens and when I click "open", it opens the file with Notepad and is a jumble of letters and numbers that I can't make out. I don't know how to fix it, and any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Go to Start > Control Panel > Folder Options > File Types tab
From there you can change what file types open with what programs.

Thanks so much! I got it changed but apparently something is wrong with the file I'm trying to download, because there is an error message that it can't open due to a possible corrupted file. Thanks so much for your help!
