HP 660 message problem
I have installed on an IBM Aptiva [several years old] a HP 660 using disk installed driver showing 7.0 [I presume version number]. Everytime I send a page to the printer I recieve the "Incorrect Installation" message followed by the "New Print Cartridge" message. The printer continues to print the page.
I have tried reloading the driver and have reinstalled the print cartridges, but still get the message. Anyone know what I need to do?

Hi Bill Wheeler,
According to HP, your problem may be caused by a poor connection between the copper strip contacts on the cartridge and the contacts in the carriage assembly. At the HP forum HP has some instructions on how to clean these contacts.
