Don't know whats wrong... Help

I recently built the computer I'm using and I checked compatability on all things that I bought to make it and it ran great for a while but now it has a major issue I can't figure out. It started simply enough, at first it would freeze while running games, but now it will freeze for any reason and not allow me to do anything at all, total freeze as if it were crashing but didn't shut down. What could it be?

Could be any one of 50 different things. Or 50 other things.
I realize your frustration, and sympathize....but without any information, it's gonna be very tough to even make a guess. How about giving some hardware specs, which version of Windows, what do you have running at startup, have you done a recent spyware/virus scan, how many fans do you have, your favorite color,...uhhh, skip the last one.

Oh, I have no internet connection to it (atleast most of the time) but when I do its the NVidia Ethernet Adapter that came on the board with an Nvidia Firewall, I know I have no spyware or anything cause I haven't connected to the net. On Startup I have only the UGuru utility, Nvidia Firewall, Network Connection Search, and Sound Card Utility running.

Might be a good idea to look in event viewer for erros either with app's or maybe even hardware.

I've already checked for any errors in hardware and there are none... but I can't check for software when it freezes and the computer does not give me an error report. I've never encountered this before...

When I looked under the Windows Error Reporting under the Software Environment it gave me two errors one was an application hang and the other was an Application error. Here's what they said.

Application Hang: Hanging Application IEXPLORE.EXE, Version 6.0.2800.1106, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.

Application Error: Faulting application rungame.exe, version 1.1.0.294, faulting mosule rungame.exe, version 1.1.0.294, fault address 0x0000a9f3.

The application error took place today but the hang took place yesterday.

Quick suggestion would be to do a search for rungame.exe and see what game(s) folder it is in (Command and Conquer, for example). Might help you isolate the cause.

Yeah, SP2 is a great idea - don't be spooked by horror stories. Rid the thing of spyware/virus'/trojans first, and all will be nice.
However, I think it'd be wise to update your graphics board drivers as well. Just a thought....

rungame.exe is a Wild Tangent file. Also try uninstalling this software and let us know if it makes a difference. If your PC is still freezing, try booting into Safe Mode and uninstalling it from there.
