no sound in media player?
Hi all,
Bit of a small problem, but bloody annoying. i have just upgraded to media player 10 and now when I try to listen to audio cd's no sound! I have on board sound card and there is no probs with the sound on game cd's, have checked the drivers and codecs and the report says ok sssooooo...... any ideas anyone. As usual thanks in advance. pappyduff. |

Not to ask the obvious but is mute on the 'CD Audio' turned off?

Thanks for the thought Jacob, funnily enough i did not think of that until about 1 hour into trying to solve the prob, (we never see the obvious do we?) but I think it may be something to do with a file in the upgrade so I have reinstalled and trying again now. thanks for the help.

ok, let me know how you get on. By the way, has there been any fiddling inside the computer? could the cable connecting the cd drive to the sound card have been pulled out?
