Toggle between Hide/Show hidden files?

Hi, I'm wondering about easily switching between Hide and Show Hidden files.
Forget my reasons, I just hate having to manually change it and change it back all the time.

I found a vbs file but it doesn't work, I guess I need visual basic.
Does anyone know of anything else? Thanks

Thanks Degs, I actually tried that before, but without the "registry" keyword. Ill browse some more and post any results

more info is needed as to the file/files you are hiding/unhiding. Since you are using win98, there iss a chance all you need to do is to create an .bat file using the ms dos attrib command but need more info as to exactly what you are doing.

ALL hidden files. It would (ideally) skip the process of going into folder options and clicking the radial option to unhide them, and all over again when I'm done. I realize its a registry issue with no simple shortcut, but batch files wouldn't be practical. I'm really just lazy and impatient. The best solution would probably be - exercise your hand agility and press the 5 (x2) clicks it takes.

since it is all, you are right, it would be impractical. Thought maybe it was only in one folder or a file or two then it would be practical.
