Windows Critical Updates

I keep getting notification from WCU to install the update for ADODB.stream. I've installed it three times now and the notice is back. I read a while back that it is probably caused by the corruption of a particular file or directory. Can anyone give me some guidance on this?

Thanks

The best I can do for you is to say is that the original corrupted download needs to be removed from the registry and then downloaded again. As for finding the reg key location,I did have it but lost it.So if anyone knows where it lays I to would like to find it again.

try uninstalling it, use a registry cleaner, then reinstall.
