Important Windows update - Status failed
If you go to Windows Update there is link to the left that reads: Earlier updates (I dont think it is the correct english term, but I mean updates you have done in the past)
In one of the colomns you can see the status. A couple of my updates have failed. How do I download these? I cant seem to find a place where to download these files again. What to do? |

You should be able to get them from the Windows Update Catalog.
Go to the general Windows Update Web site. Under Other Options, select Personalize Windows Update. Select the "Display the link to the Windows Update Catalog under See Also" option. Click Save Settings. Under See Also, you will now have Windows Update Catalog. You can also access the corporate Windows Update Catalog directly at this Microsoft Web site. After you access the catalog, you can add several fixes to your "basket" that Windows Update will download to your machine. If the updates still fail to install, try installing them from safe mode.
