Total AdBlock

After both being sick and without a computer for a long time, a friend kindly gave me a factory-refurbished Dell Latitude laptop running Windows 10.

While installing programs I accidentally installed the free trial version of Total AdBlock (instead of AdAware which I had successfully used on previous computers).

I dislike Total Adblock because I cannot control it and I would like to remove it. My free trial period has now expired but I am bombarded by pop-ups on every website I visit.

I cannot see Total Adblock on the list of apps on the add/remove programs facility. How can i remove it?

I do not know if it is a bona fide application. If members here recommend it I am prepared to subscribe and give it a fair chance.

just open your browser, go to extensions and remove it from there. If you need further help, post the browser you are using.
