PC very slow and unable to run Norton etc
Hi, I have a PC running windows home premium. Recently it has been running slowly. Skyrim wouldn't load because it couldn't find any sound. Now I am unable to run Norton 360. None of Norton Eraser McFee Stinger or Malwarebyte will load. The only other issue is my PC crashed during a short powercut. Is it possible I have an infected PC or was the power outage the problem. Thanks

Below are some reasons for laptop running slow:-

- Lack of Windows Updates
- Low RAM.
- Background services is activated.
- Corrupted registry.
- Installed Programs or Games that is not compatible with your computer.
- Infected by Virus/ Malware.

Possible solutions to speed up PC performance would be:-

- Install latest Windows updates.
- Upgrade RAM.
- Disable background services.
- Uninstall unnecessary programs and files.
- Fix registry error with reliable program like I always use RegInOut.
- Install a good antivirus.
