Can't Figure It Out!!!

My desktop was working fine until yesterday. I tried to watch a video on You Tube, and it just re-booted on it's own! At first it was only when I tried to watch a video, but today it happened again when I was just on a web page! I know that two days ago, I tried to download a You Tube Down loader, and it didn't work fast enough for me, so I UN-installed it. Could that be the culprit? A virus...maybe? I did a virus scan... Nothing.
