Windows 7 - Running Slow
I have a new Toshiba laptop running on Windows 7. For a couple of days now it has been running extremely slow; even to boot up takes longer than how it used to be. Another thing that I noticed is that on the desktop a text document appears often, named "debug". Not sure why that is happending, but I delete this file and after a while, comes back up. Need your advice...!

Can't help with your lappy running slow but some info here on the re-appearing debug file on the desktop (which is usually an empty text file): http://techsalsa.com/solve-debuglog-...automatically/

Regarding the slowdown, try cleanbooting and run this way for a day (see here, Step 1: Perform a clean boot). Dont troubleshoot it yet and make sure you dont download anything or surf to dodgy sites while you are running in this state because your antivirus will be disabled. Did you notice any difference?
