Video Card trouble? Screen tearing

I've been having a problem with a -few- games. Not all of them



Aliens Vs predator
Call of Juarez
Supreme Commander 2
Sims 3
Need for Speed shift

Different companies, different options but the same problem, HOWEVER, some games work perfectly fine...and some of the game listed USED to work fine

current game is running at 125fps, shown next to it, i don't have trouble -running- the games, just ...well...playing them.

It nearly covers the whole screen, flashing violently, rendering these games completely unplayable
