Unhappy Long Beeps when started, will not boot?

Windows ME was starting to re start it self about a week ago, then went to turn it on and all you get are long beeps, it seems to run but does not turn on monitor. There is no set amount of beeps, just over and over, ANY CLUE ?
Thanks

Hi Freefall,

Find out what the beeps mean.

This might be easier than trying to find out what the series of long beeps means than trying to find info on your computer manuf. or motherboard manuf. website:

www.pchell.com/hardware/beepcodes.shtml

I found this by typing 'beep codes' into Google.

If you don't see anything on the monitor, it'll be hard to go into BIOS setup and reset the BIOS.

It might be something as simple as a loose video card.

LOL.
