WiFi Not Working After Reformat
I just reformatted my Vostro 1000 laptop and WiFi Catcher is no longer functioning. I installed the Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility but when I click it does not open. My router is a Belkin G. Please help!

can you check that the wireless device is being recognised by the device manager?

No
The specific device is not recognized on the device list. However there is something called Dell Network and it has a yellow triangle next to it indicating it is not functioning. I tried the option to look for updates online and it couldnt find any. Since my last post I found the Driver online and tried installing, but it said something about it not being supported. The utility readme off the driver I got on the ResourceCD says that the utility could fail to open if the BIOS is not updated. Im assuming the ResourceCD should have updated the BIOS but I dont remember a specific driver with BIOS in the name. TY for responding btw. Computers are so frustrating and its nice someone is trying to help idiots like me out :P
