Hi Freezzz,

Are you thinking of doing just a repair install of XP, or a clean install? Reason I ask is that doing just a repair install when you have viruses that just won't go away is not going to solve the virus problem and will probably create even more problems.

If you were thinking of doing a clean install, which will wipe everything off the hard drive before installing XP, do you have a retail full install CD, retail upgrade install CD or a Recovery/Restore CD provided by the computer manufacturer?

Another thing that I would highly recommend so that this does not become a frequent issue is getting Anti-Virus software, even free kind. No computer is safe from all viruses, and all computers without protection WILL get viruses if connected to the internet. They are that prevalent in this cyber world. It's only a matter of time, and activity.
