I have built my own pc and everything works ok except it doesnt beep on start up. I have checked the speaker is not faulty and it didnt work using another one.
The mobo is a ECS K7SEM
Has anyone any ideas about this?

I am 99.9% certain I have wired it up correctly as it is marked on the motherboard "speaker". The other available position "Front Panel Audio Header" doesnt appear to have the correct connections corresponding for the plug

I have turned the plug round as it only has two wires on a 4 pin plug (red and black) so it can only really have one of two positions.
I have tried a speaker from another case and this didnt work either so I have now contacted the motherboards web site and asked them the problem.
Thanks for your time and assistance
