I recently had to reboot my computer and was required to update XP's framework to 2.0 to use my Sony Vegas software. I received an error code during the update and could not install the software without the update, so I decided to go to Microsoft's website and download the update there. I received the same error code as before. Since Microsoft's support is no longer free, does anyone know what this means? :
Error 25015. Failed to install assembly 'C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Mic rosoft.VisualBasic.Vsa.sll' because of system error: 0x80131107 ![]() |

try deleting or renaming your windows/assembly folder, turn off your antivirus and try again.
