Wndows XP security update and Norton Security
Hi,
I have Windows XP Pro and Norton Security installed on my PC. It happened second time to my PC that Windows security update corrupted my Norton config setting. I just would like to know what is your experience - is there any point to install third party firewall if Windows has its own one (I am not talking about antivirus)? Thanks for your help, Zdenek |

The short answer is YES. You should be only running one firewall program. If you are running the firewall from Norton Internet Security then you should have the Windows firewall disabled. Many of the companies that offer firewall programs have spent to time for research and development than MS. Many had firewall programs before MS did and they need to play "catch up".
