Vista Home Premium
things I like in XP, plus things that I’ve downloaded:
1. restore(I use as a mini backup) 2. google’s indexing of my pc’s contents 3. a file list of my backup docs.(Word?) Now can I get all of this in Vista Home Premium? Thanks

1. Yes, VHP has System Restore
2. Assuming that's a function of Google Desktop, yes, you can install Google Desktop on VHP (it was preinstalled on mine) 3. The backup file list may be a function of Word. I didn't see that option on my XP Pro with Office 2000 installed...of course, I never looked for it, either.
