Strange behavior - Opens twice program. HijackThis attached

Hi,
maybe I catched somewhere a nasty. Some programs load slow (Help & Support), but then 3 times, whilst Excel or Word is fine.
Since Yesterday I have errors in Windows XP log (Help & Support):
"DCOM got error "%1084" attempting to start the service StiSvc with arguments"" in order to run the server: {BA126AE5-2166-11D1-BF92-0060082ED811}
I have 39 similar to this, only the “StiSvc” changes to “AVG7Arlt” ..... and others.

The HijackThis log file mentions a missing AVAST file. I had AVAST running and found no nasties, neither AVG 7.5 neither ADAware, all constantly updated.
When I run the AVAST yesterday, it reported 766 entries into
C:\Documents & Settings\Name\Local Settings\Temp\ as being protected and not able to scan them. One entry is : ~fs111.chd\0830.csv besides the other 765.

Here is the log:

There is no evidence of any malware in your log nopfusch. You have two antivirus programs running though. Not only are unnecessary resources consumed but the potential for conflicts is greatly increased.

Choose one to keep and uninstall the other from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and reboot. If this didnt help, go here and download ATF cleaner. Use it to remove all Temp Files, Cookies and Temp Internet Files, Java Cache and any others that you would like to remove. If you also use Opera or Firefox, also click on the cleaning options for each browser.

Next, go here and run the Panda scanner and post back the report. It can take quite a while to complete so please be patient.

Thanks for the reply.
I have those 3 AV progs since a Year now running and had no problems
up to now.
But when my USB modem was not recognized anymore, and the Devicemanager had a yellow mark on the USBs and also on the PCI bus,
the PC became erratic. A program I ckliced 10 minutes ago, suddenly loaded.
Restoring would not work: "the system could not be restored, try to select to an earlier date" or similar came up.
I tried to repair (original WXP-SP2 I have), no luck.
As I have on C:\ the OS and some very essential progs only, I re-installed XP
and all is nearly fine.
Form the XP progs, Help & Support takes a long time to load.
The yellow marks in the device manager are gone, but all is not well.
Before I embark to your tests suggested, I have to test my RAM and Graphicscard. I had at this MB a similar problem 3 Years back and after some
search, the VideoRAM was faulty. That's why I have a Graphiccard now.
I let you know about the outcome.
Maybe it's time to upgrade as well, the MB is >5 Years old.
Regards
nopfusch

They may not have caused your problem but most AV's download program updates as well as virus signature files and conflicts can occur at any time.

It does sound as though your problems are hardware related though.
