Hi,

You will need the drivers for your Video Card. If you do not have a disk that came with it, then look at the following:

Right Click anywhere on the Desk Top then go to Properties, now click on the Settings TAB, what is the color set to? 16 Colors?, see if you have a choice in the little box (click on the down arrow next to the white rectangle box. If it gives you a choice select 16Bit True Color, hit OK. If it doesn't then your video card drivers are not installed.

Click on the DRIVER TAb and see what it says? Post that here. Also post what kind of computer Brand Name???? Anything will help.

Did a search for Dell Ultra Scan 466mem could not find. If you go here:
http://www.s3graphics.com/

About halfway down the page you will see: Know your S3 graphics chip.

Try DOS utility S3ID.EXE to help identify the chip on your board or system.

Choose "save the program to disk" and run in DOS or from a Windows command prompt. Write down the chip number and chip name for later reference.

To do this download the porgam and remember where you downloaded it to. I would download it to your C: directory.

Now go START | PROGRAMS | MS DOS PROMPT

A black window will come at and you should see a blinking curser after:

c:\Windows

Now type the following.

cd\ (hit your <enter> key)

You will now be at C:\

Now type in S3ID.EXE (hit <enter> key)

Watch the screen and it will give you your chip number and chip name.

Now go back to the Link above and log in, you will have to register, but it's free. to find the right driver.

If you can't find it or wnt to post the info here and we can help find the right driver for you.
