Never had an xbox.. But if its IDE or SATA then just plug it in and format it and Im sure it may work. May be locked or something though, But I doubt it.

They are IDE and can be used in a computer, look here for how to do it
I have a dead Xbox next to me that I have taken apart, a friend needed the HD for his dead Xbox so I gave mine to him.....the inside of an Xbox looks exactly like a computer, IDE cable, 4 pin molex power and everything http://users.belgacom.net/bn257386/x.../open-xbox.jpg Last edited by gimpy530; November 6th, 2006 at 10:01 AM. |
