Power Save Mode

I need help! When I turn on my computer the green light on the monitor turns on for about 2 seconds then it turns to amber. The screen is blank. When I press a button on the monitor the monitor reads In power save mode press any key or move your mouse. I did both and nothing happens. How do I fix this problem? How do I get out of power save mode?

The monitor is fine. I switched the monitor to my other computer and it worked fine. When I put a different monitor I had the same problem.

I haven't added any new hardware. I just moved. Before I moved it was working fine. When I reconnected that is when the problem started. I switched monitors and the monitor is not the problem.

if you plug the monitor in the bottom, as shown in this pic, then open your computer - touch the metal frame (to prevent static discharge) - remove the skrew that hlods the video card in place - remove the video card - put it back in, making sure it's in there snug - replace the skrew and case - does it work now?
