Restoring files from recycle bin
I have a Windows 98 system in which Windows files were deleted from the system, but not the recycle bin. The system then locked up and I can't even get to Windows to restore those files. Is it possible to restore files in the recycle bin from the DOS prompt?

as far as i know you cannt do it from the dos prompt. if you know what files that you deleted are you should be able to restore them for the cab files.

yes first safeguard them C: cd\ md saved001 cd recycled dir xcopy *.* /s /h C:\saved001 |
