Question Recent Crashing Issue

Within the last month my Win XP has started random crashing, and seems to be happening more frequently as time goes on. Up until the last crash I hadnt taken note of the message, figuring it wouldnt happen again. The last time it crashed, the message said that it was most likely caused by:
WIN32K.SYS PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE_AREA

Some other info toward the bottom :
Win32k.sys Address BF801932 base at BF800000

I dont know if that helps.

Any ideas of what to try? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

See if you can get some more of the message next time... at first glance, this appears to be a driver issue. Can you relate some common thread of things you are doing when it happens?

I will try to get more info next time. The only things I remember doing when this has happened was either playing a game on a website and/or playing some music. Other times, its just random activities on the PC. Sometimes the PC will just freeze up and other times the blue error message comes up.

You might do an internet search on:

WIN32K.SYS PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE_AREA

It's a pretty common problem and there are a lot of solutions out there. And, yeah, try and get the rest of it. There is a block of numbers that actually means something, even though it looks like garbage.

go to your event viewer and check out your error messages

control panel - administrative tools - event viewer - check system and/or application logs.
