When you remote access the desktop of a computer, you are essentially using that computer as if you were at it. Any actions taken through the remote desktop will be done on the remote computer. So, all websites visisted will be saved on the remote computer, not the local.

if you are using your laptop to access another computer remotely, then yes the laptop is the local computer... basically what ever you are tryping on is the local computer.
