Locating files under an old user account

I am stumped on how to find files in an old user account.

The user profiles on my computer are different than what is listed under my Documents and Settings.

The Documents and Settings show an old user profile. I have files in there but don't know how to find them. I kept my files and folders on the desktop but when I go there I don't see anything.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

If you go to C:\Documents and Settings you'll see all the other user profiles on the computer. If your logged in as an admin (or have the correct rights) you can access them all you want. What files are you looking for and why do you now have a new user profile?
