Should I upgrade from XP Home to XP Pro

I just bought a new laptop and at home on desktop I have XP pro which I love and find more reliable than XP home. Thinking about dishing out about $200 and upgrading to XP pro on laptop. Any opinions? I run office 2003, quicken 2006 ag, and play home videos and may edit a little on laptop plus digital photos transfer while on vacation, and also to show relatives. Surf the net and pick email up with web based service.

its a toshiba m110-JG2 1 gig ram, centrino duo processor 1.73 gig and 100 gig hard drive.

XP Pro is not more reliable than Home, it just has better network support and security.

If you do not need advacned netowrking or security (permissions, group policies) then why bother upgrading.

As stated under the skin theyre essentially the same just the home version is how shall we say an economy edition of the full version.Theres plenty of literature on the web defining the different aspects of both like the links below but unless your using a buisness network theres little point paying the extra dosh out

No point stay with Home.
If you find that the Pro is more reliable make sure you have all the latest home updates and drivers.
