Ie 6 opens as minimized

Since installing Itunes upgrade my
IE 6.0.2900.5512.xpsp_sp3_gdr.080814-1236
browser now opens minimized everytime.
I have gone to a link and resized and closed still opens as minimized.
Is there somewhere I can adjust this to open Maximized?

Right click the shortcut you use to open IE, left click Properties. On the Shortcut tab, select Maximized in the "Run" drop-down list, click OK. Open IE.

If that didn't work, open IE and go to a page with links. Open that link in a new window. Then close the original window before doing anything else.

Resize the window that's left, then close it. Reopen IE from your usual shortcut and see if that did the trick.

I found you have to manully resize the second window you can not use maximize button as it will not work. You must click and drag the second window tot he size and then hold CTRL and close window.
