Steam games don't work
Hi. I got a new computer and when I try to play day of defeat and counterstrike, it doesn't work. I pick a server and then it loads and it shows the map and sound for a split second and then the game suddenly closes.. I kept trying it again but it keeps doing the same thing? I'm not sure why it does that maybe the map doesn't install on my new computer or something. I turned my firewall off and tried it and it still didn't work. Any help?

They were downloaded throught steam. Also I did try different servers but it still doesn't work. My pc specs are:
HP comp AMD Athlon 64 x2 duo core 4200+ processer 1024 mb ram 250 gb harddrive nVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE integrated graphics (256mb) I just got it (the computer) and I don't know how to update the graphics card and everything.
