Cant create server

Hey I have Soldier of Fortune 2 Double Helix (I know an old game.. but hey its still kicking!!) And i can't create a server! I do everything properly.. i can join my own game (no its not Local/LAN) i use INTERNET and dont do it as a PURE SERVER.. so.. what I'm thinking is do i have to open any firewall ports or anything because with my Diablo II in order for me to create a LAN server i had to open ports up.. or even internet games.. so im wondering what port would i need open.. usually when i create server the IP ends with :20100 or something.. any help please?!

Double Helix requires ports 20100 to 20112 to be open and/or forwarded to your PC via a router.

If you're dealing with Windows XP firewall, just allow the game .exe, not the ports.
