Computer Speed and slow restart

Not sure If I'm posting in the right spot, but I was hoping to get some help. I've noticed my computer moving much slower over the last week(especially when on the internet). I was hoping someone could give me some help.

It's in the XP forum but it does apply to Vista as well.
