Using 42 inch TV as monitor sizing issue
Windows 7 Premium
We hooked up our desktop to 42 in LCD TV through HDMI (TV used instead of monitor) Pages – Internet Explorer, Yahoo home page, etc.. too big and Upper and lower bars are not completely visible – partially off the screen. Subsequent pages open even bigger… We have tried playing with the resolution but can’t seem to get it to fit properly. We bought the computer (HP Pavilion Elite-HPE-112y) specifically to watch internet TV, DVD and BluRay. Last edited by Donna1959; March 6th, 2011 at 06:52 PM. Reason: indicating windows version -7-premium |

Welcome to CTH
1. Right-click your desktop and select 'Personalize' 2. Select 'Display' (On the lower left) > Select 'Change Display Settings' 3. Select 'Advanced Settings' > Select the far right tab, do you have a control panel of sorts to start? If so, you can open this software and there will possibly be a setting that will change the display layout Are you using Windows Media Center to set up? http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...s-Media-Center |
