Vista Diagnostics Tool?

Hello,

Is there a tool for Windows similar to Chkdsk that I sued for previous OS to scan the system for boot/hardware issues etc? I have searched this subforum unsuccessfully thus far. Thanks!

In Vista you can check a drive for file-system errors just like XP by right-clicking the drive icon & choosing "Properties, then click the "Tools" tab & click "Check Now". However, it doesn't check for hardware or boot issues.

If you can remember the name of the application you used to test for such errors on XP, I'm sure there will be a version of it that runs on Vista.
