well the case you are looking at looks nice,i myself just built my first gameing pc so i can tell you that the antec 300 is a very nice case,a little cheper priced(got all my stuff from new egg)and has great cooling.it comes with a 120 mm fan in back and a 140 mm fan in top,it also can hold 2 120mm fans in the front, which i did add to mine, and can hold a 120 mm fan in the side, which i havent woried about yet cause really i have had no problems with cooling at all,my cpu hasent went over 29 deg c which from what ive been told is great.now the front 120 mm fans have to be no more than 25mm deep or the removable front cover wont go back on.but it is a nice case and has great cable magagement capibilites, can hold 6 hard drives and 3 cd drives.well the prosesor ur looking at says it will come with heat sink and fan so thats good cause if you buy one that dont and dont can cooler it would void wananty on cpu,but that wont be an issuse for ya.now i looked at power suply and the only think i have to ask about it cause i couldent find specs on it on site is does it have 2 pci exspess power conectors?the vid card ur getting will have to have 2 so if ur not sure about that thats something you need to know.well good luck and i hope ive helped ya out a little.

Look for a motherboard that supports crossfire in 16x16 mode rather than 8x8 mode. There really is no performance increase when running one card in 16x vs 2 cards in 8x.
Here's a link for the ATI certified psu for the radeon 4870. the HX620 isn't listed although the corsair TX650 is. another thing to keep in mind, is the idea that you plan on overclocking, so make sure you get a psu that is upto the task http://game.amd.com/us-en/crossfirex...#8482; HD 4870 |
