Another reboot issue

I have a Dell XP and I need to totally reboot the computer. I broke the reboot disc and Dell won't give me another one. I've tried, they put me on hold. I tried researching it but I understand little about it.

Anyone wanna help?

Reboot means to restart the computer. What you want to do is either repair the Windows installation, or reinstall (after formatting). Is there a reason you need to? And you will need a CD to do it, you either have to get one from Dell, or use an XP install CD obtained elsewhere (be sure to use the CD key on the sticker on your PC).

Well my windows media doesn't work, I tried to remove the entire program and reinstall it but it doesn't work. Lots of music plugins don't work on my computer, Internet explorer, MSN messenger, MSN Browser don't work and when I set up a program to run at a certain time, it says that it won't run, my games like solitare and minesweep (I think default games) and notepad and word perfect are gone and it freezes up when I run a virus scan/ad aware sweep/disk defrag. My winamp closes out when I put a song on there and a lot of the programs on the computer give me the "Windows encountered an error, send error report" window. It also does a memory dump when I have too many tabs open on Netscape.

OK, that seems like enough problems to warrant a repair/clean install. You will need a disc.
