windows wont start up

when i turn my comp on it doesn't load into windows its just a black screen . I can go into safe mode. I tried uninstalling the last that I installed but that didnt
work. i also tried going to command prompt only and restoring the scanreg but it didnt work. I'm not sure what else i should do
can soemone help please.

There might be many reeasons why this is but here are a few steps you might wanna try out

..Is the ram in plae on your motherboard........unplug ram and put back to slot
...check your video card

maybe you should try using a boot disk if all your hardware is properly inserted.

and yeah, put some more info so people can be of better help
