Why can't I open mozilla browser ?
I even uninstalled and reinstalled mozilla. when I go to oepn the browser, it says

"start.mozilla.org could not be found. Please check the name and try again"

Can you open any other URLs?

Check the connection settings in IE and compare them to your settings in Mozilla.

It's working now. We'll see if it happens again.

I noticed mozilla is slower than I/W. Is that an inherent problem in mozilla ?

No, there shouldn't be a noticable difference.
