Question website design question

I am using 'frontpage' design. so when i type on one line and then press enter to continue on the next in apears to skip a line.

ie:
---------------------------
this is what
(line skipped)??
is happening!
---------------------------

Is their anyway to stop that. I also tried using 'namo' and it does the same thing. the only program that doesnt is 'Nvu'.

CAN I CHANGE THAT??

Try using a different HTML editor...FrontPage is a ''what you see is what you might get'' program. I have used FrontPage in the past...and I am not knocking it. It is good if you are a n00b to the web-page writing scene (like me) but you can Google ''HTNL editors''..and choose a free one. Hope that helps.

I think FP interprets the Enter key as a <p> tag and skips the line following. I don't have FP installed to try it out but in some other programs you can hold down the Shift key and press Enter to make a line break without skipping a line.

Phil,

You may want to ask your questions in the NAMO forums http://namo.com/support/forum/ . It doesn't appear that there are many NAMO users here. I've never even heard of Namo before.
