want to reinstal harddrive after reformat but..
I want to reinstall my storage harddrive with out having to reformat it also. I reformatted once and when I went to reinstall the hard drive(Maxtor), I had to reformat it. I use this harddrive to save all of my movies, pics, and tons of music. I had to start all over again once, but I don't waht to do it again. The program the HD comes with is Max Blast from Maxtor, and it seems the only option is to reformat. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Howdy:
Not exactly sure what you are asking here.. If you took the hdd from the system, all you need to do is put it back in the system.. Please clarify just what it is you are wanting to do!! Murray |

Murray is right, you should be able to just reinstall it into your computer. It depends on your OS as to what procedure you'll need to assign it a drive letter if you need to. The guys on the forum will need more information to accurately answer your question.
