CD System Reinstal

Hi there to all! My continual crashes affecting the keyboard and mouse were never solved, now the computer makers are asking me to go down the 'restore your original system' -

This is a psain because so much will have to be reinstalled which I just took for granted.

I have saved a lot of things from my hard drive on CD RWs and floppy disks, but I have a marvellous file transfer thing I downloaded for free called, WS_FTP can any body remind me where I got this marvellous tool from (so I can download it again), and will I get any problems in downloading it for free again?

Also, any other tips in general from anyone???
